100 Happy Days

A while ago I wrote about “One happy moment a day” and that I wanted to write down at least one happy moment every day on the cards of my calendar box. But it didn’t take long until I stopped doing it. No time, nothing special happened, … excuses are always easy to find. It seems like I have to take this one step further and commit myself to a new challenge:

Can you be happy for 100 days in the row?

This challenge is exactly what I need and I immediately submitted the form. It is pretty simple, too: Every day you have to submit a picture of what made you happy using the hashtag #100happydays.

They say, 71% of people tried to complete this challenge, but failed quoting lack of time as the main reason. These people simply did not have time to be happy. Isn’t that insane? Am I insane, when I say I don’t have time to write down at least one little thing that makes me happy every day? What could be more important than that?
Challenge accepted. Starting today, I will post a happy moment every day on the Facebook page of The Happy Project: https://www.facebook.com/myhappyproject

Here’s the first of my #100happydays moments:

Finding a parking space super close to my home after 7pm. Yeah, you might think that’s trivial but believe me it’s a miracle! My all time record for searching a free parking lot stands at 43 minutes. Finding a free space immediately when entering the street tonight made me really, really happy :-)
